Jackie's Trip List 2009

If you have not yet been on one of our coach trips then what are you waiting for, you get picked up from the garden centre (no pick ups here, there and everywhere like some coach trips) and can leave your care safe in the knowledge that it will be secure in the car park all day, there is a courier on all the coaches to ensure your trip is a great one, we also arrange a free raffle with a prize on all trips and all for bargain prices, pop along now and book your place with Jackie on any Tuesday.

Portmeirions beautiful gardens.

Portmeirion

Wednesday 14th October £29.00

 

An autumn scenic tour through central Wales stopping at Llangollen for coffee, culminating in a visit to Portmeirion stunningly located on the shores of Tremadog Bay. Featured in the popular 1960’s TV show ‘The Prisoner’. Portmeirion consist of about 50 ornate colour washed buildings and a Mediterranean Piazza, there are shops, restaurants and beautiful gardens. We return through more lovely Welsh scenery a long day but still worthwhile.

Pick up 8.30am return to Garden King at 7.00pm ish!

The Bakewell Bridge over the Wye.

Bakewell & Chatsworth

Wednesday 11th November £30.00

Today we travel to the Peak District calling first at Bakewell for a couple of hours and then onto Chatsworth House to see their decorations inspired by Hans Christian Anderson's 'The Candles'. In the late afternoon we hope to find time to visit the farm shop.

Pick up 9.00am return to Garden King at 6.00pm.

The Amazing Rockingham Castle Gates.

Rockingham Castle Christmas Special

Thursday 3rd December £35.00

Inc. guided tour and Christmas dinner at the castle.

It's Christmas Eve 1849 at Rockingham Castle. The great hall table is laid, the silver polished, the candles and fire are lit, the decorations in place and the kitchen is a hive of activity. Come and see the final preparations underway and enjoy the tales of the staff on your guided tour of the castle. Then go to the Restaurant where your very own Christmas Dinner awaits you. You are free to explore the Church and gift shop. Then given time we will make a short stop at Oakham before returning to Garden King.

Pick up 10.00am return to Garden King at 6.00pm.
